Cedar Hall at Penn State Altoona, Altoona, PA

Constructed in 1997, Cedar Hall is a residence hall designed in collaboration with California architect William Turnbull. The building steps up from one-story to 4 stories to respond to a copse of trees located at the end of the playing fields next to which it is situated. Cedar Hall provides suite-style rooms accommodating 320 students. The suites consist of two double-
occupancy bedrooms, with four students sharing a semi-private bathroom. The building has a conference center feel, and has been well-cared for by the students over the years.
